Our story
Meet Livvy
The Keepers Club began with Livvy — The bright blue-eyed first born, with a big love for fishing, just like her dad. From the boat to the beach, the river to the jetty, she’d be there with her lucky pink rod, reeling in fish from the age of three. But in every photo of her proud moment with her ‘Keeper’ , she was wearing a loud, fish covered shirt — practical, yes. But it never quite matched the magic of the memory or looking as stylish as her regular clothes.

Meet Jack
Then there’s Jack — the cheeky, beach-loving second child who’s all in for the first splash of the day… and completely done the second he's out of the water. Cold, clingy swimmers? No thanks. Waiting for them to dry? Not a chance. So every beach trip turned into a constant costume change packing extra swimmers and tees to get through the day. The backup shirt? Never SPF or quick-drying and usually straight from the playground drawer. I wanted a practical, sun-smart long sleeve shirt, that looked stylish beyond being on the water and protected him after the swimmers came off.

What is Plastic Bank?
Plastic Bank is a social fintech with a mission to end poverty and stop plastic pollution through a global bottle deposit program. It is headquartered in Canada and operates in the Philippines, Indonesia, Brazil, Egypt, Thailand, and Cameroon.
Collection members join Plastic Bank through their local collection branch or by registering on the PlasticBank® app, and gather discarded plastic from the environment, including beaches, rivers, streets, neighbourhoods, businesses, schools, places of worship, community centers, and more.
Members exchange the collected plastic for additional income and access to social benefits, including health, work and life insurance, digital connectivity, grocery vouchers, school supplies, and fintech services. Every exchange is recorded in the PlasticBank® app for traceable reporting backed by their blockchain-secured platform. The plastic is then sent to local processors to be made into recycled feedstock, reentering the global manufacturing supply chain and enabling a circular economy for plastic.
